Name, Location and Opening Hours

The name of this place is Fisheries World. It is located inside Swapnopuri Park. This Fisheries World remains open only during the park’s opening hours. However, during the picnic season, it stays open from morning until 10:00 PM.

Structure, Environment & Decoration

The structure of this Fisheries World is designed very beautifully so that visitors feel attracted at first sight. The environment inside is calm, quiet, and peaceful. Various types of fish are cultivated here.

In terms of decoration, many artificial items have been created inside to enhance its beauty. Artificial hills, statues, and decorative elements are placed in different areas so that visitors can enjoy the surroundings while exploring the place.

Payment Methods

To enter Fisheries World, each visitor needs to purchase a ticket priced at 50 BDT. Entry is allowed only after buying the ticket. Tickets are sold only in cash. No mobile banking or other payment methods are accepted here cash payment is the only option.

Details About Its Services

Inside Swapnopuri Park, there are many attractions, including a zoo and Fisheries World. Visitors especially enjoy these places.

When we entered Fisheries World, we saw many kinds of small and large fish. Some artificial fish are also displayed to enhance the beauty of the place. There are no staff members inside the Fisheries World area; they are mainly positioned at the entrance and ticket counters.

The staff members check tickets politely and welcome visitors with friendly behavior. Tickets are required for children above five years old, while children under five can enter for free.

There is also a large pond where different types of fish usually seen in home aquariums are cultivated. Dedicated staff take care of the fish and provide food daily at fixed times to keep them healthy and active.

Other Facilities

Fisheries World is a great place to visit with family. People of all ages from children to elderly can enjoy this place. I did not notice anything negative during my visit.

For security, CCTV cameras are installed in different areas. Visitors are checked properly at the entrance to ensure safety. The ponds and fish are maintained by separate staff members. Beautiful bridges are built over the ponds, decorated with dragon-shaped designs that attract visitors.

The most impressive thing is that the place is very clean. Dustbins are placed everywhere, and visitors use them properly, making the environment even more pleasant.

Overall Experience

Compared to many other places, I really enjoyed visiting Fisheries World inside Swapnopuri Park. There are many attractive elements such as artificial hills, decorative fish, wall paintings, and colorful real fish.

Fish food is sold at specific spots so visitors can feed the fish. The beautifully designed bridges and clean ponds added extra charm to the place. Most importantly, the security system was very good, and the entire area was clean and well-maintained.

Separate paths are made for entry and exit, making movement easy. Some areas were under renovation during our visit, especially a few ponds. After exploring, we fed the fish and then exited through the designated exit route.
