Application for SIZ IT-Tech Course - Working of IoT Infrastructure
In the growing world of technology IoT contributes to our lives a lot even beyond our thinking. The unlimited volume of data generated and communicated through web of things can be manipulated and used to attain further goals.
The empowering techniques and infrastructure of IoT will suck the whole world’s potentials to make a new smart era of this century as RFID tags, Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11, ZigBee IEEE 802.15.4, multi-purpose sensors, barcode readers, fingerprint readers, actuators and many handheld and smart devices are being used by it.
All the connected objects through IoT system design having embedded distributed AI (artificial intelligence) enables these objects to even communicate with anything by their own. The state of the art behind the working of IoT infrastructure is shown in this figure.
Importance of using IoT
This technical and smart era in which we are living expect to be more intellectual, frequent and secure than in past. Thus, we need a network having the ability to integrate all kind of physical objects (rather they are machines or not) efficiently and to share their data more frequently all over the time anywhere in the world. Other critical aspect of IoT, is the secure and smart environments that are the need of this age.
4 Week Course on Working of IoT Infrastructure
How IoT works is not a tidbit to understand. Briefly, the system design and infrastructure of IoT works through cloud computing, edge computing, sensor web enablement, wireless communication networks, artificial intelligence, featured hardware, network specific protocols like ZigBee IEEE 802.15.4 etc. All the components of IoT network need to be cleverly operate in both bound and wireless network environment to deal with all kind of restraints and to access the data foundation with variable connectivity. These components must be able to accept requests vigorously also rank these requests and to answer them in actual time. The following figure describes the working steps of IoT network:
