Photos of London at night
I stayed in London overnight and went out and took some photos. It's interesting to see how different everything looks at night.
The millennium wheel was lit up with blue lights and they reflected on the Thames.
The clock faces of Big Ben look good when lit up at night.
It has to be one of the most photographed places in the world, there always seems to be someone taking a photo of it.
I was using a Sony camera that has a watercolour setting and I think it makes the red of this phone box stand out.

Some great photo's here. I love the one of the eye lit up in blue. It gives such a nice contrast with the sky.
I've got a photo of it before it was raised, back in 1999. I wondered what it was then, it looked like a bridge that had gone wrong :)
So, I lost a comment here. What I wrote was how the iconic British red telephone box is a fantasy item I’d love in my garden. Can you image how pretty it’d be? Plonked in the middle of a whimsical garden. I could pretend to it was a time machine....almost like having the tardis.
Anyway, I’ve been to London twice and I never really got to see enough. I’m fascinated by the Underground Metro System. Wouldn’t it be so cool to get onto one of those abandoned platforms and get some photos.. it’s more those places we can’t go that fascinates me about the city. I feel there’s so much hidden history there. :)
They are for sale but they seem a bit expensive. Any that aren't being used in the UK are being removed, so people use them occasionally, just to keep them going. I'm sure the delivery would be a lot as well http://www.x2connect.com/RedPhonebox/Telephone-Box-Pricing
