Road Side Stories : Bengaluru on traveling faster

in #blog8 years ago

In this video, I talk to people about the new intracity rapid transit mode that has been made available to the population of Bengaluru, a city that is known for its notorious traffic.

I stay in Bangalore and I try to travel by metro as much as possible because it's a no-brainer option. Something that takes an hour by road can be reduced to 15 minutes by Metro, though this holds good only during peak hours. Also, metro is available only in certain routes. I hope they build it in all the other routes, and they're actually working on it as we speak, but as we know, building underground railway is no child's play!

Metro has significantly reduced the travel time and also put an end to parking woes. I prefer taking metro to MG Road from Byappanahalli mainly because of parking issues in MG Road/Brigade Road.

Hope metro comes to silk bored :P

I can't image how messy the Outer Ring Road will be when the metro construction work starts. BTW, I commute daily from KR Puram to Bellandur everyday for work.

Wow, that must be quite a commute. You're a modern day warrior.

This type of YouTube channels are very rare in Kerala ...If you wish come here one day with some great Idea bro..I expect a video in Malayalam.

I'll learn Malayalam right away.
