Modern Flower Decor part 1
There are many ways to approach flower arrangements within a space but the result is often envisioned with the same intention, to complement the surrounding space. Arrangements can take anywhere between a few hours or days to create or even just a few minutes. It all boils down to the intended result and attention to detail. Over time I’ve learnt a great deal about arranging and have come to learn about the more modern and minimalistic approaches to flower décor. To stand out and look appealing it doesn’t always have to be busy. It’s common to think that flower arrangements are complex designs involving hoards of petals and colours but this is far from the most effective approach. A concise and minimal design can achieve the same effect if balanced correctly.
In preparation of my flower arrangement design I often scope out the space and choose colours that will complement or contrast with the surroundings. The arrangements can serve as a balancing tool against a room that is filled with energy or can provide a dose of it with some brighter colours. After selecting my choice of colours I will research on the type of flowers that will fit my intended look.
