The Accommodation at ZhangJiaJie.
Given it's eclectic history as the hiding place of General Zhang, this region has developed with quite a large wealth disparity between the wealth and the poor. Large detached houses will rub shoulders with hutong's of the working class. And yet, there is something here which defies common sense, and that is a mutual respect and harmony between all citizens and residents.
My stay would be a balanced one, previously, I lived in a small lodge and now I'll be trying out a big mansion house for just one night. I don't know what it's like to live in such a large property, but I'm extremely excited to have this opportunity to live like someone wealth for just one day.
Inside, the first impression is that it is grand. Grand in size of rooms, height, and generosity of space in the walkways and stairways. There is obviously an excess of room here that doesn't mind being "wasted" for the space remaining is still more than anyone could ever need. The living room was so large that it felt like 3 or 4 living rooms combined into one.
Interior decor wise, it was very plain actually, with marble flooring throughout, and plane beige coloured walls. The minimalism actually made the place feel even larger. I certainly wouldn't recommend coming here with just two people. Atleast 4 and even then it is far too large!
From the outside, it just seems like a regular big looking house. Who would have known what the inside would turn out to be like.

Thats classic!
