The Marshmallow Town
Welcome to Heilongjiang province! This is called the Snow Township, or the scientific name known as "Bimodal forest." It is located in the Hailin City, Changting Town at Zhang Guangcai Ridge and Laoye Ridge intersection.
The entire area is 1000 meters above sea level and covers a total area of 500 hectares. In the early morning you can see the floating snow, almost like clouds just peacefully resting on the buildings. Perfectly untouched and very smooth. It reminds me a lot of marshmellows.
During the night, the show goes on and there are the Candied fruits and also the good fortune cat outside to welcome people wanting to browse around the night market. It's quite amazing thata even in this snowy weather, people are active and willing to go outside. From a distance the whole town is just a snowy white beautiful marshmellow. It's one of the most beautiful scenes I have ever seen.
