Greeting all of my steemian friends, Today I came to participate in another contest in the Scouts y sus Amigos community and the topic of today's contest was Climate Change which is a very important issue considering the current times. Glad to be able to present my post on such a wonderful topic. So I thank my friend @edgargonzalez who organized today's contest on this important topic. Below I present my post to you.

What do I mean by climate change?

The weather pattern of a place over the years is called climate and the change in that known weather pattern is called climate change. Most of the time, climate change is caused by man-made causes. Climate change is also caused by natural disasters like floods, storms, tidal waves, tornadoes etc. Along with widespread deforestation and ambient air pollution, including black smoke from factories, vehicles, cigarettes, the world is warming, and the long-known behavior of the climate is rapidly changing as a result. So it can be said that the change in the specific weather of a place is called climate change.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of the land as a result of rain?

There are several advantages and disadvantages to land during monsoons. But let's discuss the benefits of rain first.

Benefits:

• The water accumulated on the ground due to rainfall washes the garbage and keeps the environment clean.
• When the rain water is removed, the land becomes fertile, so any tree grows well in the monsoon season.
• Rainwater washes the sand away from the soil, allowing any plant to absorb the proper nutrients from the soil and allowing the plant to take in carbon dioxide and release oxygen.
• Rainfall washes the dust from the ground and flattens the uneven ground.
• Rain water destroys the pollutants in the soil and increases it on the soil.

Disadvantages:

• The main disadvantage of rain water is that it causes waterlogging which makes it difficult for people and other animals to move over the land.
• Extra heavy rainfall causes waterlogging of the land which causes damage to the land and the crops.
• On rainy days, standing water on the ground increases the infestation of mosquitoes due to which we are prone to various diseases.
• The ground becomes muddy on rainy days which makes it look bad and even after the rain water dries up, walking on the muddy ground is quite difficult.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of solar earth?

Just like the creator created this earth and all the creatures and people of the earth, the sun is a wonderful creation of the great creator which is very beneficial for the earth and all the creatures of the earth. But sunlight has several advantages and disadvantages and I will discuss them now.

Benefits of Sunlight : Sunlight illuminates the earth due to which we see day after night and in the presence of this sunlight we roam in different parts of this earth. Plants produce food from this light in the process of photosynthesis. Animals depend on these plants or other animals for food. As we depend on plants and other animals for food but on the other hand plants wait for the presence of sunlight to produce their food. Without plants this world is unsustainable and the plants are kept alive by sunlight which is why the sun is called the "power house".

On the other hand, there are several other benefits of sunlight for us and they are:

• Sunlight contains vitamin D which is very important for the human body
• Day comes after night in the presence of the sun which brightens up our surroundings and enhances the vision of our eyes.
• As Sun is placed we can carry out all our activities during the day due to which our body gets tired and from this tiredness we get good sleep.
• Sunlight is good for the brain.
• Sunlight increases immunity.
• Sunlight helps lower blood pressure.

Despite all these advantages of the sun, there are some disadvantages of the sun and they are:

• Prolonged exposure to sunlight causes our skin to darken.
• Excess sunlight causes headaches.
• The intense heat of the sun heats up the surrounding environment which sometimes disturbs the mind of the normal way of life of the people.
• In the presence of excess sunlight, drought occurs in those places where rainfall is less, resulting in damage to various crops including humans.
• Excess heat from the sun increases the rate of transpiration, resulting in excessive evaporation of liquid from the leaves, which often results in wilting of the leaves and death of the plant.

How does climate change affect our health?

Sudden climate change causes damage to our health. Changes in the climate system include an overall warming trend, changes in precipitation patterns. Along with climate change, it affects the natural environment, such as more intense forest fires, melting permafrost and desertification, which have a negative impact on biodiversity.

Our Bangladesh is a country of monsoon climate and there are total six seasons in a year. Due to which some different diseases appear in our country with climate change. For example, people are affected by various diseases including colds and coughs during the monsoon season. Moreover, in extreme heat, people become physically weak and suffer from various diseases. Moreover, during the intense heat of Bengali Chaitra month, heat spreads in the surrounding environment due to which low pressure is created and from the low pressure there is danger of natural calamities which cause damage to various animals including humans.

To protect our health, all these changes in climate affect our physical health due to which we become easily affected by various diseases. Seasonal diseases disrupt our quality of life. So I think with the change of season, people are exposed to various diseases which have a huge impact on health protection.
