The Diary Game (07-04-2024) || Story of My Ordinary Day.

Assalamu Alaikum to everyone. Hope everyone is doing well. I am here today with a typical day of my Ramadan today. During the days of Ramadan, I worked non-stop. Because a long Eid vacation is coming soon. So I had to complete my important work before them. I was fasting today.

In the morning, I come to the office by staff bus. As soon as I arrived, I sat down at my work desk and read. As soon as I came to the office, I had some reports to prepare which I had to submit before this. I was currently preparing the annual performance contract report at the office. Which I have to submit every three months.

I was called by my boss while working. As soon as I entered the boss's room, he showed me an old radio. It was recently gifted to him by the Ministry of Bangladesh. This type of radio is not available today. I saw it and it looked really good. I found the radio to be very unique.

Then sir asked me to take out a historical book from his book shelf. The book is an extreme paper which is written about the story of the liberation war of Bangladesh. And the book is written by the famous author MR Akhtar Mukul. These books are kept in the archive because later, since our office publishes newspapers, these historical books are used in our publishing work.

I and some of my colleagues discussed with Sir that we will collect information from the writings of this historical book and use it in the publication of our newspaper. Then sir gave us some directions. And accordingly we planned how we would work in the future.

After finishing the work like this, I ended the office hours. Then I headed home. I always travel by metro rail after my office holidays. Currently I avoid the office staff bus after vacation. Because the month of Ramadan is going on now, there is a lot of traffic on the roads in the afternoon.

So I came to the Metrorail station. Then I went to the ticket counter. There I recharge my MRT pass. My card balance was depleted for my regular commute. Then I went upstairs and waited for the metrorail for a while. Then I saw that the train had arrived at the platform as usual. I will go to Motijheel from Agargaon. It will only take me 12 minutes to go. Where I used to take a bus for about 2 hours.

My house is another 15 minutes from the station. Today I decided to buy iftari from outside. So I entered an Iftar selling center. I have been there before. Three meals were available earlier. And now he is sitting to sell Iftar after observing the month of Ramadan. There were iftar items in different positions.

I purchased several Iftar items from here. But very little because I live alone so it would be wasteful to take more food. Anyway, the price is quite affordable for everything. Actually I bought a bowl of haleem from there. Haleem is one of my favorite dishes. And this food is a traditional food of Bangladesh.

Anyway, after coming home, I freshened up and started preparing everything for Iftar. If only there was a lot of time left. Still I don't like to rush at the last minute. So I prepare everything in advance. Then Maghrib call was given according to Bangladesh time. Then I broke the fast. This was my activity for the whole day today.
