"SELFIE A TREND" OR "MENTAL DISORDER"

in #trending7 years ago (edited)

"American Psychiatric associaton" , have stated that
taking regular selfies and getting obsessed with it could be a sign of mental health problems and a sign of low esteem in a person.
This nature of behavior also suggest that these people have trouble maintaining their relationships with other people.

"UK Mental Heath Association" have also stated in a report that,

People who continuously share their selfies in Social Media Platform ,put these selfies to ease their loneliness in the real world. And more likely these people are extremely self-obsessed, narcissistic and attention seekers.

So, as the world is getting more digitalized, and more corners of the world being touched, as more and more people getting into social media platform,
I really dont know what to expect,
Is people getting self obsessed day by day or more lonelier day by day or are people getting closer to one another and more open to sharing their views day by day.

The funniest thing I've seen is people taking selfies all the way through a concert without watching the concert once, just getting good angles for their selfies.

Well i have also seen people going a lot of extend with the concern to take in selfies rather than enjoying the occasion itself....

Yep. This annoys me. People live to document and share on social media. Put the phone down, people! Enjoy your life experiences.

totally agree with u ......we are getting very wired to weird things...making less important stuff the most important thing of life

Haha. I agree....selfies. Tired of the term, but they will always be one of the easiest ways to take photos.

selfie is a easy way to capture...but obsession with selfies...i dont get it .....it makes things or surrondings less important
