MY HOPSITAL IN TEN PICTURES

Recently posted to my new station in Navrongo, upper east region of Ghana , as a Physician Assistant (Medical)

The hospital has a very interesting name ie
‘War Memorial Hospital’ established in the colonial era in Ghana (early 50s) which was the main hospital that took care of war victims in the Northern Territory

The reaction was a sad one when I was first posted here but having made new friends through steem ,I am beginning to feel at home again...

Outlook of the Entrance to the Facility

Main Staff Car Park

This can be found just within the inner perimeter when you just bypass the entrance

Administration block
Which has the office of the Medical superintendent,The Chief Accountant ,Administrator and secretaries

The block looks too old ,well it’s a colonial hospital ..

The main Corridor to the various units and departments of the hospital including wards for in-patients

We are already at the wards for in patient admissions

Female Medical ward
This is where all females with medical issues that are complex to be resolved at the out patient department get admitted for further enhanced care ...

X Ray Department
Where images of internal organs and body Structures are taken to help a Doctor or Physician Assistant confirm diagnosis of medical conditions

Eye Unit
One of the many specialized units that see only patients with very specific body part problems
Just behind this unit is the Ear ,Nose and Throat clinic which is also a specialized unit

Media men at the premises of the facility to interview clients on their satisfaction of services rendered them by hospital staff
