My perfect weekend at the beach!

Ohai, it's Shoogie! If you've seen any of my previous posts, you know that I only recently moved to Florida. What I haven't told you is that I'm surprisingly outdoorsy and love taking photos everywhere I go. I'm no pro-photographer, but I figured why not share a few of my favorite photos. The following images were taken in October at a beautiful beach here in my new hometown.

The best part of a day as beautiful as this is spending it with people you love and care about... in this photo, my mother was working on her tan while my husband looked for boats through a pair of binoculars.

I always shy away from having my picture taken, I prefer selfies where I can work my best angle haha. This ones special to me though, my husband snapped it while I was running around with my beach blanket pretending to be a super hero!

You can't visit the beach without building a sand castle! I don't mind looking like a big kid, especially if it involves having this much fun. It took a while to build, so we got a bit of sick satisfaction when we stomped all over it before heading out.

After an amazing day at the beach, we went to our favorite bbq spot, I had the half chicken with double mac n' cheese and cornbread.

As if I hadn't indulged enough, I ended the day with this peanut butter cake! I can't wait to go back and do it all again another day.
