Hard Fork Twenty in 100 words or less + Pictures.

Old term is “Bandwidth”, the New term is Resource Credits, these partially regenerate every day.

Old term is ”Voting Power”, the New term is Voting Mana, this partially regenerates every day.

Old Term is ”Voting Powerbar”, the New Term is Voting Manabar, it partially regenerates daily.

Old Voting time was 30 minutes, New Time 15 minutes, anything earlier your curation rewards are lost!

New Concept: Transactions: are votes, comments, transfers and power ups.

New Concept is Transaction Costs, which are measured in Resource Credits

If you don’t have enough Resource Credits you can’t perform the transaction.

Cost of transactions in Resource Credits 09/28/2018

Power-ups: 2,700,000,000

Transfers: 2,700,000,000

Votes: 3,000,000,000

Where do you go to find out how much Mana or Resource Credit you have?

Upvote yourself so you can get up to .10 lol ;)

Thanks.
What did you like about the post?
What else could I include or explain better?

The info. You could do an updated one since I think the values changed???
I don't consider myself an expert on this new system othewise I would maybe make my own post and/or provide some more feedback.

Okay. I will check Steemd.com to see if the cost of transactions has changed. I hope they got better.
Thanks

Crap! We both "donated" to the rewards pool. :( lol
Upvote yourself but upvote yourself after 14 minutes. lol

😂🤣😂
Your right!
I need to slow down I guess.
I forgot that 15 minute rule applied to comments.

I've been doing pretty good but you screwed me up since you had already upvoted. lol I think that's the first one I messed up on. It's a pain but I think the rewards pool is going up so overall I think we should be in good shape.

Why is the rewards pool going up?

I was able to upvote your comments from yesterday without donating to the reward pool
😀😀

You have a lot of other comments you could upvote as well. I was going to try and front run you yesterday. lol

Your right!
My rewards are so small without bidbots!

This is a really good post. I can really understand the important things I need to know and not get distracted by technical terms or explanations.
Upvote and resteem!

Thank you for stopping by my post and thanks for the appreciation!

Enlightening stuff. But quick question does it mean that once you are out of resource credit you really can't function on the platform until the next day and is there where you can purchase resource credit if you eventually do run out of them? @shortsegments

Hi
Good questions.
Once the number of resource credits you have falls below the cost of the transaction you want to make you can’t make that transaction.
For example, if it costs 1.4 billon resources credits to comment on a post and your balance is 1 billion, you can’t comment. But a cheaper transaction like a Steem transfer costing 500 million resource credits could be done. So it’s a “pay to play” system.
Your second question is actually also one of the most frequent questions and the answer is no.
Steem developers didn’t want to create another commodity that people would sell, so they made resource credits nontransfersble for now. They do regenerate daily and if you buy more Steem and power it up to Steem Power you get more resource credits credited to your account.
Great questions!

@shortsegments thanks a lot for the reply. Fun facts to note, use your resources well.

Hi @ shortsegments, i already know these terms. But i am happy to read your post because there are many new members who just joined steemit and do not know what happens to it. So it will be helpful for new users. Continue good work for future for newbies.

You are welcome sir
