Who will be the future of Cryptocurrency?

I read an interesting post yesterday, I think it’s title was “Only 50 Cryptocurrencies have a real use”. The author talked about the large numbers of cryptocurrencies in existence which have no use case or just a planned use case and discussed the cryptocurrencies with use cases and why that will help them survive. I think this is a good article to read to see another point of view on the strong points of Steem and Steemit. You can read it here; https://steemit.com/busy/@taskmaster4450/only-50-cryptocurrencies-have-real-use

My thoughts on the article:
The author thought Steem would survive for many reasons, but the one reasons I think is very important was use case:

Steem has an ecosystem that is consistently growing. While it does not have the hype and marketing of some projects, it is moving forward at a steady pace. Applications are appearing on a regular basis with the existing ones seeing nice growth. This is not something that many chains are seeing.<

I agree with this point. I think the major advantage that STEEM has over most other blockchain is that not only is there a real use case for the Steem blockchain, but it’s already in use by several blockchain Applications.

Here on the Steem Blockchain, we have the following things:

🤔We see a lot of daily activity (over 20,000 active users daily).

🤔We have a lot of development activity here with new Applications like Steemhunt, Partiko, Actifit, Steem Monsters and now Drug Wars. In addition, we have a large number of developers creating applications like wallets, games and other use cases.

My personal experience with almost 100 different cryptocurrency projects is that for many, if not most other blockchains the type and amount of activity we already have on the Steem Blockchain is “just a dream” for them.

🤔What We have is what other cryptocurrency coins, blockchain and communities hope to have one day!

Our present is like the future dreams of other blockchain..

I think the Steem blockchain is a dream come true. 🥳🎉😊

I liked the top comment on there.
I'm curious what the 50 useful currencies are. Seems like there are even less than that.

Thanks for nice information.
I hope within next 5 years Steemit will make a best platform in crypto world.

And those who are involved in Steen, will succeed.

Thank you...

I agree with the article and your thoughts on Steemit. It has a solid foundation and daily users of the platform which as long as this continues to grow STEEM and STEEMIT will be successful. Another item that will greatly help Steemit grow is if the content quality increases overall as more quality content will attract more users/readers to the platform which will help all members of Steemit and STEEM grow. Also the development of APPs such as Steemmonsters will attract users who want to play games like this which will add to the user base as Steemit has not had such things before. I would say the more quality/interesting and useful APPs that are added will be one of the keys to its success. I also agree that there are a lot of garbage tokens out there with nothing more than a dream and no plan of execution.

Exactly, you get it.
I agree .

Future currency of the world.

I often started doing small amounts of cryptography in faucets, see ads, etc.
I signed up for tokens Airdrops, jjajaja. a lot, a lot And more.
I did not win a coin, but I learned something about crypto.
Steem not only offers accessibility for someone without a penny like me.
It also allows to practice its use, in steemit.
That is very, very good.
I can only see what's good for the future.

Thank you for voting my publication.
and visit my blog.
I do not know what I did. Out of fear I published it without finishing.
I already corrected.
If you wish, you can read again. :)

So true @shortsegments, Steemit and by virtue of there relationship, Steem, already have a diverse and growing ecosystem. It is one of the reasons I was drawn to this platform. I too like to see the the new applications popping up. Even in the down market, the Steem use cases are expanding.

I would like to add that there are a few areas that I believe Steemit must address or may begin losing market share. Primarily down-vote abuse.

STEEM have a real used case in form of dapps which developed on STEEM blockchain . Some of the coin which i saw in last few month they just doing ico for pump and dump of price only they do not have such kind of other used.

If we are able to rais more user base STEEM will be moon.

Very useful & helpful article. Thanks.

Saying "only 50 blockchains are going to survive" and then not giving a list is a pretty weak argument. It does not contain any info. Will it really be 10? Or 30? Or 80? Or 100? etc If someone just throws that out there, it just thrives on people fears and hopes. I tend not to listen to that.

I understand your point.
