ancient scientist have given countless inventions to humanty,sme inventions from ancient times still remains a mystery though,the greek fire used by the Byzantine Empire in the seventh century is one of the biggest secrets in our science,it was kind of a kiquid substance that was thrown from the ships ,it was impossible to extinguish the fire from water and it spread very quickly.This substance have served as an inspiration for the famous wilfire on the series GAME OF THRONES.

2-DAMASCUS STEEL
Damascus steel was the forged steel comprising the blades of swords smithed in the Near East from ingots of wootz steel. These swords are characterized by distinctive patterns of banding and mottling reminiscent of flowing water.it was the steel which was used in the blades of Christian soldiers who fought in the Crusades ,the strenth the wave like pattern make them completely unique

3-THE VOYONICH MANUSCRIPT

The content of this manuscript is still unknow to us ,many scientist have been trying to decode it but failure is only what they get.It has 246 pages ,it is bilieved that it has a dark origin and it is related to "BLACK MAGIC".It is written in an alphabet that nobody has ever seen.

4-THE ANTIKYTHERA MECHANISM-
It is a complex clockwork mechanism composed of at least 30 meshing bronze gears. A team led by Mike Edmunds and Tony Freeth at Cardiff University used modern computer x-ray tomography and high resolution surface scanning to image inside fragments of the crust-encased mechanism and read the faintest inscriptions that once covered the outer casing of the machine

It is one of the monuments that have really been for a long time,its weigh 6 tons and 7.21 m high have not rusted more than 1600 years ,it is still an engineering mysteryThe ancient writing is preserved well because of the corrosion-resistant iron on which it is engraved. However, during the engraving process, iron appears to have closed up over some of the strokes, making some of the letters imperfect.
