Siberian Tea Ceremony

in #food8 years ago

I do not like writing about myself. But any article the blogger writes, this article is partly about himself. The style in which he writes, about what he writes, etc., all little by little "speaks" about the author himself, about his image of thoughts, habits, hobbies ...

Today, too, walking around the city ... By the way, I came across an excellent tea shop, where I found glass pialas that I had been looking for for a long time and, on the occasion, stockpiling puer. So walking around the city and qualitatively tired, I just had no choice but to cheer up and test-drive new bowls.

Just now sitting and sipping a good shu-puer from new dishes, I remembered my note about the "Siberian Tea Ceremony". And I decided that it should be repeated for lovers of good tea and especially for those who like paper bags filled with waste products of tea production. (Excuse me for the categorical) Although the famous Lao Chau Tou can also be called a by-product and waste, but waste is different when making ornaments of gold, too, there is waste)))

Siberian Tea Ceremony.

"Who does not drink tea - that schmuck"
Chinese folk wisdom.

"To have a cup of tea" - it deserves attention? Or is it just a couple of sips of tincture of a cardboard bag with the dust of Ceylon roads?

And this is a matter of taste and mood. And today it was so that there is a mood and friends treated to half of the "nest" of Shen-puer. That's why everything will not be on the run and big circles, but directly in reality, straight a small tea ceremony.
But this is also difficult, incomprehensible and meaningless. We need special items, mugs, spoons.

Really need a little. Need tea and good thoughts))) And what to make tea and what to drink can always be found.
So it turned out that what to drink tea and what to brew I have.

Tea too.

"In the beginning, we need to get acquainted with tea ..."
... consider it, breathe in the fragrance ...
Strange rules ... But when tea is good, it happens by itself. So in our case. Although Puer and not strongly seasoned, in 2008, but it's good. And judging by the appearance and smell, it should be very tasty. Plus, it was the green pu-er for a long time that did not drink ...

We begin ... We chop off some tea from the nest (about a third of the gaiwani) and put it into it.

Fill with steep boiling water, stirring the leaf a little. And after 10-15 seconds we drain rinse with the first brewing "bowl of justice", a plum and pialas. First, all the dust and debris is washed from the sheet, in the second the dishes are heated.

And we give the sheet in gaiwani "breathe" a couple of minutes, loosely covering it with a lid. (Apparently in the leaf swelling on the air is better to reveal the taste. Indeed, it is so much better)

They say that it is necessary to meditate ...))) In principle, all these actions, in themselves, soothe and relax.

The time has come, we pour boiling water into the gaiwan.

Seconds after 10 merge into the dump. (Yes so quickly)

Repeat the procedure ... Here is the sink (it's such a small jug in which all the "layers" of tea leaves mix and tea becomes "fairer") is full. You can also enjoy the taste of good tea. I do not much like tea with sugar, but it sometimes allows you to shade fruit and floral shades of tea. Therefore, I found a compromise, put in a bowl a couple of pieces of caramel sugar and do not stir.

There may be a question why the bowls are so small? It is difficult to answer this question, especially after the tradition of drinking large cups from a samovar (this has its own charm and you can write a lot about it and now it's Puer). The easiest way to understand is that the correctly brewed Puerkin is akin to a good perennial cognac or whiskey. And it is enough to drink a few such bowls to get a charge of vivacity and good mood for not one hour.

That's basically the whole ceremony. More precisely its beginning. I'm leaving to drink ...

P.S. ... poured tea - drink, drank - do not forget to pour. As the tea in the hayvania decays, it is digested, gradually increasing the welding time to 20-30 seconds. Up to 9-13 tea leaves, but for good teas and more ...

Have a nice tea
