I look forward to the day where self driving a car, and even the self flying in a drone, become the societal norm. I think it will open the doors to completely new of industry as well. The argument of replacing cab drivers and pilots could be made, but lets not forget we will need mechanics, programmers, systems maintainers, and people to manage. I think its a step in the right direction.
