THE MASTER KNOWS ME
Hypocrites, believers and nomadics alike
"All power belongs to him.."
They sang in towering voices
I sang along too
Never conceding his supremacy
Never bothered
"In time, I will come in terms with the Master_my yearly mantra."
I saw flames
Running up my legs
My dress had caught fire
I struggled endlessly
Beads of sweat like diamond dropped
Motherrr ! I screamed
Echoes of my wail in silent grief bounced back at me
Knock knock
"who? "
"it's me"
"who? "
"Help me! I wanted to yell; I was in pains, couldn't he see? Instead in guilt and shame I said, "Master have mercy"
He did!
My Master My friend
Ever near me
Always doing wonders
Who in the dark and silent grave
When I had wandered away
Gave up his life
He shall dust me free of every ruins and ashes
He did!
With relief I looked up
He was gone
I felt a bullet
How did he leave so Soon?
No chances of hugs and gratitude
I determined to search for him
Just then he smiled at me
I smiled too.
He lived in me
