Evening all.....

In the last two weeks aside from being extremely nuts in the shop as usual. It has rained to some degree for eleven out of the last fourteen days.

So yes I’m was quite back logged on all of my outside duties. Now I don’t just have my own house and yard to take care of but my stents as well.

Looking at the weather forecast for the next several days, today was the day it had to be done.

I don’t think my parents neighbors were to happy with me but oh well. Started up the lawn mower at 6:30 am and got busy. Weedwacked and bew off the patio and walk way.

So now it’s around 8:30, I downed a couple bottles of water, changed my soaked with sweat shirt and unloaded the extension ladder. Both houses are in direct sunlight which makes working outside extremely warm but it’s gotta get done.

Now to clean out the gutters on my parents house. The roof line has many different levels for such a not big house, there are six different heights of the gutters with 31’ being the highest point.

Oh and I’m not a fan of heights at all.......

Fell off a three story roof when I was 18 or 19 doing a-slate roof. Story for another day......

Because of my non love of heights this chore takes way more time then it should. But after roughly two hours and another shirt change it’s done.

I grabbed two more waters and loaded up the truck with the ladders, mower, trimmer, blower and took the power washer off.

The power washer was giving me a hard time running, it would start and run but sputter out. It wouldn’t stay running!!!!!! So I went to the auto parts place and got some blaze which is a combination of dry gas and a fuel cleaner. It did the trick and now I’m in business.

The house, patios, patio furniture, walkways, fence and driveway are done.

All loaded up heading home. To do my own house now.........

Did a complete change of clothes after unloading the truck. Grabbed a protein bar a water, time to clean the pool first. The pool got opened very late this year between weather and buddy who helps me schedule it wasn’t in the cards. So this is the first top to bottom cleaning and chemical drop.

I thought it would never end, but by about 4:00 the pool is now 100% clean and the chemistry is perfect.

Still have to cut my jungle.......I mean lawn. Yes it’s rather high.....

I’m not going to bore you any longer. It’s all done, I am typing this post covered in grass clippings.

Time for a shower, dinner and a beer....
