#MonochromeMonday

in #monochromemonday7 years ago (edited)

I just discovered the blog page of @old-guy-photos! He started the tag #monochromemonday, and he takes awesome black & white photos. Check out his this article with an important video reminder Guessing Game on a Monochrome Monday here.

Okay, so I took this blah photo of a house built in the 1800s.
I really am just a beginner in taking photos, and using my smartphone is no help at all.

Thanks to @tattoodjay, learned how to do this:

and in my amateur mind, I think the second photo seems to be better and an improvement from the original one. What do you think?

I hope you are all enjoying this beautiful Monday! Thank you for viewing this article. I will see you again soon!

Awwww... thanks, @corndogg42! But you are always so good and say the nicest things! I appreciate you!

Thank you, my friend! Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. Have a great week!

LOve you edit it worked so well with this shot

OMGosh, thank you... that means so much to me. Like I worked on it for hours, LOL!!!

They both look good! The house color seems more visable in the top one, and the front flowers look more vivid in the 2nd one. As if it is all B&W except for the flowers 🌸🌷🌹🌺🌻 Great post, my SSFL 👊💗

Yes, you are absolutely correct... the second one is monochrome and selective coloring of the flowers! So if you noticed it, then I feel good... because that is the effect that I tried to achieve in the second photo. Thank you, my SSFL 👊💗 for stopping by today. I enjoy reading comments from you. I am cutting my trip short by a day. I am flying back tomorrow. I hope to see you again soon!
