As we are tech lovers and use of computer in our lives is very basic things nowadays
Computer plays immensely important role in our day to day life. I am very addictive to computer science and i really inspired by this technology.

Learning objectives

• Familiar with Computers Ports
• Purpose of computer ports .
• Ues of computer ports.

Why it is used

As we know computer if we talked in sense of desktop it is combination of different devices like

• Mouse
• Keyboard
• Monitor
• Central processing unit

And if we are connected to network there's some networking devices as well and that is Modem, Router and some other devices.
These all collectively make a connected Computer 🖥️

This all peripheral devices are connected to computer via port. In computer science port is refer the part of computer system that allows peripheral devices to connect to computer systems for input and output operations.The main purpose of these compter ports to act as an intermediate medium for connecting external devices. It commonly known as attachment point. Ports are mainly related to operating system and also managed and maintained by computer operating system. Each port is really standardized and having its own purpose. Some common ports are as

• Universal serial Bus port
• USB C-type port
• Ethernet and display ports

What is Port

Today i am writing about ports. Port are used to connect peripheral devices. Port is a physical docking poing for connecting this all external devices to computer . These ports can also be programatic for the flow of information to computer networking.Ports in computer system having Three fundamental uses as helper receptacles

• Computer hardware,
• Computer software
• Computer networks

Hardware and software ports in very often in use almost all i/o operation is done with the help of Hardware and software ports.. It makes possible we can connect external devices to system and enhance computer functionality and features.
In earlier 1969 docking points in computer science introduced by ARPANET initial stages ports are differentiated by socket numbers.

If we go with generalization so here is some more types of port

• Serial Port
• Parallel port
• PS/2 ports
• VGA port
• USB port
• Power connectors
• Firewire port
• Network port
• Game port
