SEC-S17W3: "National Festival"

in Steem For Bangladesh8 months ago
Assalamu walaikum to all my steemit friends

Alhamdulillah, everyone. I'm here with my entry for the third week of the Engagement Challenge, wishing all my Steemit friends the best of luck. I think it's really intriguing this time. This year, "National Festival" is the selected theme. Every country has a national festival that is widely celebrated, according to that nation's culture. I will use a challenge question to talk about my nation's "National Festival" today.

What is the national festival of your country? How did it start

A festival is a joyful event when we express our happiness. Festivals are a special way to make people happy in a social or familial context of a country. Day-based celebrations are observed differently in different countries. considering that I live in a Muslim country and that I am a Muslim. Eid is the national holiday in my country. Eid is the biggest holy holiday for Muslims. In my nation, we celebrate Eid twice a year.
Muslims fast during the month of Ramadan. During the month of Ramadan, in Arabic, people observe fasting. They commemorate Eid ul Fitr, the occasion of breaking the fast from the first day of Ramadan until the last day of the month, on the first day of Shawwal.
Eid ul Azha is observed on the tenth day of the month of Zilhaj. Today is devoted to giving up. Many people refer to it as the Eid of Qurbani at times. In addition, some of the flesh from the sacrificed animal is given to the underprivileged relatives.

How is this festival celebrated? Are there any special rules for celebrating it?

We hold a number of festivities to honor the religious festivals observed by the Muslim community. As I indicated earlier, we celebrate two Eids. In our culture, the two Eids are celebrated in various ways. Before the day of Eid arrives, we observe a month-long fast during the first Eid-ul-Fitr. On this day, men leave their homes early to give prayers and feast on sweets. A very delicious homemade traditional meal is also prepared. On the day of Eid ul Fitr, a family get-together is organized to extend the joy of the holiday to everyone.
We also give up our priceless belongings on Eid ul Azha in an effort to gain Allah's favor. On this Eid, we give halal animal sacrifices for Allah's sake and the majesty of sacrifice. Despite the distinctions between the two norms, the overall objective is to celebrate the happiness of the rich and the poor together.

Are there any special outfits or foods for celebrating your national festival?

In observance of our national festival, women should wear salwar suits and sarees, and men should wear pajamas and Punjabi. As new styles of clothing enter the market, so do fashion trends. Our happiness was heightened by their new attire.
Food products are very appealing these days. As part of the ongoing tradition of our national celebration, unique foods and national desserts are cooked today. For breakfast, we get a sweet delicacy called semai. Semai is one of its famous dishes during our holidays. Our celebrations would not be complete without food, especially beef, biryani, sada polao, and khichuri roast chicken.

Tell us about your favorite memory from celebrating your national festival.

I have many fond recollections of taking part in national events in my earlier years. My memories of my early years were more positive. When I was younger, my sisters and I would go to my grandmother's house together. I used to go there to celebrate Eid with a large number of my aunts and cousins who used to stay. Some memories will never fade.
like what they're wearing. At the period, it was customary to regard apparel as out of style if it was worn before one's day. When I was younger, I used to buy them clothes and hide them. I used to write cards to all of my cousins in the days leading up to Eid. On this day, too, I used to meet every elder in the house. On the day of Eid, everyone would then give us Idi, and at the conclusion of the day, we would discuss who had received the most Idi. Yes, those carefree childhood days were very beautiful. After growing up, I have not experienced the same level of happiness as I did in my youth.

@sinthiyadisha,, Greetings to this contest,,

Eid is a festival of great joy and happiness for us Muslims. Where Muslims from far and wide leave their work and rush to their homes to celebrate Eid together. We have to celebrate 2 Eid festivals every year which are the biggest and holiest festivals of our religion.

Celebrating everyone's Eid is special. Like you used to run to your grandmother's house with your little sister. He used to celebrate Eid very happily with his aunts and uncles. The memories of those Eid celebrations in his childhood really come to mind a lot during those Eid days.

Yes indeed festival is a happy event it creates an atmosphere of sharing happiness among people through festival moments of happiness are created among people.Eid is celebrated twice a year, the first is Eid al-Fitr, which is celebrated on the 1st of Shawwal immediately after Ramadan Sharif. It is a great gift from Allah to those who fast. On this day, Muslims perform sacrifices and revive the Sunnah of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him).Being a Muslim, these festivals of Eid are celebrated in a very beautiful way in our country too.On this day, all Muslims get ready early in the morning and leave their homes wearing good clothes and perfume and after offering Eid prayers in the mosques, they hug each other. are going.Always be happy and enjoy such moments in life.

Eid is our big religious festival which we Muslims celebrate with great joy. In these two festivals, we forget our differences and rejoice. We have certain religious rules which we follow to observe these two festivals. Many of us are familiar with your childhood memories of Eid being a joyous time of all the cousins getting together and sharing stories. Now no one gives Eid cards, it was very popular earlier. Now only messages on mobile. Best wishes to you.

Greetings my dear @sinthiyadisha

It was very good to read your post, the incident is very interesting. The way you mentioned the festivals in the country with us and you celebrated the Islamic festival as a national festival was very good. Islamic festival has its own splendor and its own joy in which we enjoy and spend this day with our loved ones in a very good and peaceful manner. These are festivals in which we also give joy and We also take happiness. It includes both giving and taking happiness, that is, we give alms etc. and distribute meat etc. to the poor, due to which they also become a part of our happiness. These are such festivals. Allah Ta'ala has given us these gifts on the arrival of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), when he came, the whole universe was created, so we were blessed with these Islamic festivals.

As a Muslim that you are, and you also live in a Muslim country, Eid is the biggest celebration, and it is always celebrated twice in a year. Wow that's a double celebration. And I can imagine the feelings of joy that accompanied such celebration. And I understand that this festival celebration has special clothing worn by men and women respectively. And I can also imagining the special mouthwatering delicacies that would be prepared that day. Enjoy

Hello ms @sinthiyadisha
Eid al-Fitr is a day eagerly awaited by all Muslims around the world. In my opinion, Eid al-Fitr is not only considered as a national festival in a country but has become an international festival. All Muslims in the world certainly look forward to the coming of the day of celebration, because they have been struggling for a month against their desires as well as hunger and thirst. I really like your writing because it explains in detail the traditions in your country when the celebration arrives.

Thank you so much for commenting on my post.

Hai @sinthiyadisha

Semoga beruntung 👍
