Playing World of Warcraft with our 8 year old son!

Kids nowadays are even smarter than scientist!! Or we all where brilliant from day 1 until we started to lose our sight from the truth, by adapting other ideas or concepts to live by, i don't know. But i do know one thing, it doesn't matter what game you play with your kid, its always fun and very important what we will remember when we are old. This do not mean that i will remember playing warcraft with our son, nope because playing warcraft is just one of the many activities we do.

We only used Warcraft to remove him from the game of Fortnight, what he was doing all the time. And i saw only fighting and building what ever in that game, and those stupid dance what our son also started to do on the soccer field outside, after he scored, and his friends joined the dance. And i saw no creativity in that game, what could also support a organized team play with social skill training. Nope i saw only shooting and what ever. I thought nope il introduce him to Warcraft, and let him start with a character he likes the most, the Warrior.

And within a matter of time, he mastered the game and now is he almost level 120. He also made huge improvement in English, what surprised me big time, because our language is Dutch. He suddenly starts to think of many creative things in the game, and even start to explain me what i could do. While i play warcraft since 2006!! Yes those are the kids nowadays, give them the right tools and they will develop into something what will surprise.

And now he loves the game, what he can play with me his father and his mother, sometimes we play with three. And his mother is @rouer66, who joined in this video on the end, sarouina is her name ingame. But now you might think about that we make sure that our son get addicted, not really friends. Because we teach our son that the game is nothing more than a reward, what he earns for listening to us in real life, and for doing good on schools or with soccer. And the best part is, he can do everything at once and still do everything what a little 8 years do. We only give him a push into the right direction and are using what he loves to do. And the price we get is a smile on his face, while on the same time me and my woman have a epic time in game!

That saying, if you have any problems with your kid, then search for something what he/she loves to do and use that as a reward, to make sure that your kid is doing what is needed to be done. That is finishing school, be social, be respectful against others, let them enjoy playing outside and put them on a sport. Take care!
