A quick introduction
Well, after waiting for almost exactly 2 weeks to be approved, here I am!! Some basic info on myself and what I plan to utilize this awesome platform for in the future...
My name is Frank and I am in my late twenties.I live outside of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania, US. I have a 6 year old son named Jackson who consumes a lot of my time. Some of the things I enjoy when I am not running after my little guy are sports; I love all Philly teams but I enjoy following sports nationally for the entertainment value. I am also very interested in anything crypto related. Internet security, anonymity and cryptocurrencies top that list.
My plans for Steemit are to post articles I will write on sports, crypto currency or anything else that interests me at the time. I look forward to linking up with some people on here and I really want to be an ambassador for this platform. My understanding of this platform, and its potential moving forward, have me thrilled at the thought that Steemit could eventually end large social media giants like Facebook and Instagram. I have already began getting a few friends to sign up, who I believe will being valuable content to the site. I will be investing in the platform, as well as contributing to it, as I could see money to be made over the long haul.

Wow that's crazy that it took two weeks to get approved. It took me a day and I thought that was a long time haha :) Welcome aboard finally!
I did read a Steemit post shortly after joining, where the person had to wait for 1 week and 6 hours. After reading that it made things a bit easier knowing it could be awhile. Im very confident in this platform and that type of wait shows that, even in beta, people want in on this!
