Survive the reds, ignore and paint. WIP with @skapaneas.

in #art7 years ago (edited)

The markets are trembling.

So what, I still got to paint here is a WIP I am planning to finish in 3-4 posts.

Ok so my second Acrylic knife painting just started an addiction on me. I can't stop thinking of the possibilities it has as a medium,
I can't hide my excitement to try some new things out, I will get out to buy some acrylic paste as I am thinking a heavily textured pop art style portrait
will be a nice way to experiment a little.

The pose I am choosing is used as a mean to get the tension I will try to create with highly contrasted colors and highlight it further.

A scream full of colors. Will be the name of this project I will keep your interest and claim your votes by sharing with you my followers the entire
creative process of this artwork.

Yellow is going to be used as my ambient color and my light for this portrait I think is the best option for the wanted result, it will make everything pop out
Mangetas Cyan's Dark blues and Red Purples at all their glory.

My most important concern will be the appropriate sketch with the correct analogies. Then when that settles I'll start off with my first layers of paint.
Acrylic paste will help me a lot I think at giving it the texture I have in mind, this is new grounds for me, but hopefully I will get the hang of it easily.

I will use my knifes to apply the paints at my canvas starting of my shadows and building up to my highlights.

I need some sharp angles for this project I must use my knifes more confident and without mistakes if possible. deciding where the next cut will be is what I will be spending most
of my time at.

Thank you man. I plan to make it worth your while.

Well we all have to be patient.
The markets will definitely recover.
It is a great time to invest at the moment.
Great Piece of Artwork as well haha

The patience will be rewarded.

interesting style, yellow is the most visible color in the spectrum
so the painting is like an anti-focus thing, I wonder if it was intentional to go along with the message of ignoring the crashes

You are right about yellow, it does have an interesting effect and compliments the pop style I am after.

Based on market condition, this piece of art is effectively representing the current market situation. All the chaos and blood in the streets of crypto's . Love this artwork @skapaneas .Wish you all the success you desires.

That's why I go with the scream. Many will relate to it was my guess.

Made a mistake voting with the @curie account on this post. Supposed to be my own account. Sorry for the inconvenience @hendrikdegrote @kushed, @curie's unvoting doesn't seem be triggering unvote from your accounts.

I will upvote this so people can see why the high payout occured. Sorry from my part as well even though I think this painting does reflect the mood of the day... For a moment I was thinking I really made a thing.

It seems the situation is fixed. A $400 payout would be overkill for a WIP. Sorry for the inconvenience guys.

WIPs are their own art too ;)

Amazing artwork, I like the colours :)
