Fungi Friday - More Golden Oyster Mushrooms
Here's another bloom of my golden oyster mushroom block for this #fungifriday by @ewkaw
Here are where the oysters were at this morning.
This is what the oysters looked like yesterday morning.
They start out as little blobs.
By the end of the day on thursday this is what the blob looked like.
A few hours later the mushrooms looked like this. They grow fast.
Then this friday morning they looked like this.
All the little clumps are now blooming. We'll see how big they are when I get home today...
My lion's mane also was ready for harvest. This batch ended up not making stalagmite formations.
Once it starts getting a tinge of yellow it is ready to harvest. Hopefully the block will give me another bloom in a couple weeks or so.

Thanks, now I just have to fugure out what to cook with them...
Yum yum enjoy this glorious flavors.
A successful crop and lovely photos!
Hopefully they will be twice as big by the end of the day.
Do you have your menu planned?
I've never seen oyster mushrooms that I can remember.
It was fun seeing their progression !
I find lots of them in the forests around here. Though they are really easy togrow from kits and bloom many times over.

Hopefully they won't be mangled looking when I get home. My last batch was a bit crinkly for some reason.

They taste good too.
That's great seeing the fast growth.
I still have to post the timelapse of the previous bloom i took.
Pure gold. Very beautiful species.
I have them starting another bloom this week, they are a pretty hearty mushroom, very easy to grow.
