Wednesday Walk - Chicago Fog

Chicago has been foggy for the past few mornings, here's some gloomy fog for this #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay

Here's a shot looking up at the skyscrapers. All colors turn to blueish grayscale when the fog rolls out off lake Michigan.

Some of the old architecture starts looking like it belongs in a batman movie with the fog covering everything.

It would be interesting to see if the Willis tower is able to penetrate the top of the fog overlay. I bet that would be a killer shot.

A bit of fog symmetry, almost.

Here's a shot with the Chicago river below. It seems the city gets less crowded once the fog rolls in. I kind of like it that way.

This shot would typically be full of buildings about half of the background ones are obscured.

The sun started peaking through finally, though that just made it seem like it was evening rather than morning.

Here some of the fog opened up making the foreground more clear. This is the ledge where I find alot of insects for @whatisnew and the #butterflyday.

Sometimes the foggy days reek havoc on the sonar of these guys and they hit buildings. Poor thing :-(

Later at around lunch time the sky cleared up. Happy #wednesdaywalk
