A portrait - Redo #2
Good morning Steemit, again I am arting today! It is almost Christmas, and since I am broke, everyone gets art :P This portrait is actually another commission by my mom's boyfriend Ben, drawing him and his other daughter. Iv done this portrait to half completion twice, but the first time I lost it and the second time, pictured here, it fell on the floor and got crumpled, plus is on thin thin paper, so I am re-doing it again! Third time is the charm right? Hopefully I will finish this today, so I can bring it to him tomorrow and have it sent off in time for Christmas! Hopefully I will have time for some ancient history and more painting tonight as well <3
Here you can see the original photograph, the mostly finished one is the one I ruined, and the one I just started... again. Drawing faces is painstaking. It takes forever.
If anyone has suggestions for the background, please comment here! I am a bit stuck as to what to do with it, as the original photo has a lame background and I wanna do something cool. Nothing too complex, but pretty. Cya Steemians later :P

Thats what i have done now actually, your idea is rad, it looks super cute and I will upload it tonight. Its almost done already and better then the previous two copies.

thanks dude, sketching faces is what I am best at. I am planning on it, though I have to dig real deep and find a buisness-inclined part of myself >.< this is one of my first commissions hopefully word will get out and more will come
You will do much more in the near future. And yeah, start digging all the business inclined virtues in yourself.

indeed. I also heard the quote lately here on Steemit, that art is never really finished, just abandoned. I relate to both!
