Red and Yellow Rocks of the Mojave

These are the vibrant colors of the Mojave Desert as seen from a few hundred feet above the desert floor. From locations such as this you ca see where the First Nations people got inspiration for the stunning colors they used in their clothing, pottery designs and paintings.

Nature paints with a brilliant palatte!




Rarely do I shoot in the middle of the day when the sun is out brightly shining because it washes the colors in my long distance aerial landscape images. Occasionally I happen upon a formation that is strikingly obvious such as this rock formation out by the Valley Of Fire north of Lake Mead, Nevada. For a larger view go here.

I love the contrasting yellows and magenta colors!

congratulations on your mission, you have to visit Argentina, and discover the magical places of my country, get hata currents will be amazed at the beauty of my homeland, I'm a nature lover you can see in my writings on my wall, so ideally you trip to Argentina, but if you can not visit my blog and enjoy it again congratulations for his mission thank you very much
