Update #110: Writing Expedition ✍️ (Sporting Activities)

I just want to talk about the sporting activity I engaged in some days ago. I guess from the images in my phone you were able to know the sport am about to talk about even without reading up to two lines in this post. I played table tennis this month and everyone of us involved that particular day were all excited because we haven't be able to get the opportunity to play this game in the church premises.

My post will be divided into two and if you don't read the second caption you will be confused about the first caption, you will think I made a mistake that's why I what to make a clarity about it through my introduction in this post. The first caption says From Playing Table Tennis And the second one says To Walking Fast In The Street Which means that after playing table tennis that day I started walking in the street very fast. There's a sport about walking fast and I think steemians aren't aware of that.

From Playing Table Tennis

It was a Saturday morning and I met alot of people in the church, the men were playing football and table tennis in the church premises that day. My friends and I watched them and also cheered them up while watching them. That was after we finished doing our rehearsals for that morning. The men finished with their sports and most of my friends played their football while some of us played table tennis.

It feels good playing table tennis again. We weren't given the original table tennis bat that the men were using because some of us might damage it. Before we started playing we are went for a Wooden Bat Hunting which was the beginning of our wonderful activities for the day. I saw a very nice one near the entrance of the church and I returned to the table tennis board.

Some of my young friends were still looking for a bat and only 4 persons among us have seen a bat to used. I sent one of the boys standing beside to call all the other boys looking for a bat. They all came and I told them we will share bat. Each time anyone is knocked out the person will give the bat to the next person and that was how we happily started the sport. Everyone was excited, I can tell form the looks on their faces 😅.

I was in charge and I made sure that everything was organized, to avoid confusions and arguments. My elder brother finished what he was doing and he came to join us, he haven't played table tennis for more than one year. He played that day and he tried his best and I can tell that he was so happy to play table tennis once again. Most of us were good in the game and we played to our satisfaction before we returned the table tennis and it's board.

To Walking Fast In The Street

We left the church premises and my brother and I agreed to buy a screen guard for our phone. It is known as a transparent thing that's the size of our screenshot that will put on our phone screen so that whenever our phone falls it won't affect our screen directly. While we were going to the place we boarded Keke and stopped our main junction. The place was still far from our main junction and we made a decision to do a walking fast challenge.

I have heard about this sport before and I believed it completely when I saw it in the Olympics game that recently ended. I saw the one women were doing and China won that particular one for the women. They were given a gold medal. It was a wonderful experience watching it on TV that day.

My elder brother refused to accept the challenge at the beginning because he knows we will definitely have to walk awkward on the road while engaging in the challenge but he later decided to give it a try. We started walking fast and he even managed to take some pictures of the busy road and street.

I saw some people looking at us and it made me laughed out loud. I was having alot of fun that day and I can never forget that day. I even had to post it here in steemit so that I can come back here some few months later to read it and smile. There was alot of cars driving the road. We arrived at the place and made payment for the service after the screen was set on our phone screen.

We left the place and continued the challenge for just 3 minutes before we started walking like a normal human being. I arrived home that afternoon and took my bath. I played some few offline games in my phone before I rested on my bed for one hour. What about you? Did you engage in any sporting activities recently?
