32-bit apps for Android have a few days

If you are an Android application developer and you want yours to be available on Google Play, you'd better start developing it in 64 bits. Otherwise, in August 2019 you will see how it is expelled from the application store by Google, as the company itself has communicated officially.

Following in the wake of the decision made by Apple in September, Google gets on the 64-bit car and officially announces an announced death, that of 32-bit applications for Android. Of course, it provides a long enough time for software developers to adapt to the new situation.

The reason is, how could it be otherwise, the optimization and performance of applications, much better on 64-bit systems. Today most of the mobiles are already powerful enough to run 64-bit applications without problems, so at Google they have thought that it no longer makes sense to support an obsolete model on Google Play.
