My 2017: Welcoming this New Year! - 2018

Hello Steemians from all over the world!

Happy New Year!! Wishing for everyone a Great 2018 and a more peaceful world.

I would like to show to everyone How we welcome the year of the Dog 2018.

In the past Philippines has the most loudest New Years Celebration due to the fact that anyone can just buy firecrackers. In previous years a lot of children and peole will be rush to the hospital due to firecracker accident. Since selling firecrackers without license is now prohibited and we have now a low that we cannot just blow firecrackers just like we want our Country is much more less silent but safe for New Years Celebration.

So it took us the whole afternoon to prepare our New Years Feast. Preparing all the necessary ingredients for cooking, desserts and even drinks

So here's our food:

1.Native Chicken

2.Garlic Shrimp

3.Sweet&Sour Fish

4.Humba

5.Seafood Pasta with Alavar's Sauce(Sauce made in Crab fat + Coconut milk)

6.Ribs

-So that's it those were the food we prepared and for some desserts we just have the common
Leche flan and Cakes

• Our drinks the usual Cola

We just went outside and observe some spectucular fireworks display and put up the volume of our music

Cebuano Tradition or My families Tradition
Usually when it comes to special celebration such as NEW YEARS DAY we do prepare roast pork called lechon in our dialect and Humba. Since we weren't able to order Lechon we made sure humba is present. Humba is just pork fat&means boil, season until it brings out it's oil fat and ready to serve (Beware for those who have hypertension)

Escabetche or Sweet&Sour fish -is one of the most in demand food for New Year since not all can eat port due to health reason we always make sure everyone can have a good meal
