SEC-S17W3: "National Festival"
Greetings and Peace be upon you.
On many different days different countries celebrate national or religious events or festivals. So does Pakistan.
The national day of Pakistan is 23rd of March. The history behind is so long it will take me ages to explain it. so here is a brief explanation:
The Muslim League held their 25th Annual General Sesson at Iqbal park in Lahore, where the Muslim League adopted The Lahore Resolution (later named the "Pakistan Resolution") on the 23rd of March, 1940, making Pakistan the first Islamic Republic in the world. A monument called "Minar Pakistan" stands proud at the very same place in honor of this glorious day.

23rd March was a turning point in the struggle for freedom, if it were never to happen, Pakistan would not be on the face of the Earth today.
What is the national festival of your country? How did it start
Between March 22nd and 24th, The All India Muslim League held 3 rounds of conferences at Iqbal Park in Lahore where they discussed the future constitution of Pakistan. It's success made it the National day of Pakistan called "Pakistan day" or "Yaum-e-Pakistan".
How is this festival celebrated? Are there any special rules for celebrating it?
Although there are no strict rules, the celebration of this day is one to be seen.
The Prime minister of the country delivers a speech to remind the civilians the sacrifice and struggle their ancestors went through for a better future of their descendants. Followed by an air show from the military's air force, Followed by Fireworks, a flag-raising ceremony, national poems and the National Anthem. Are there any special outfits or foods for celebrating your national festival?
Many people (mostly children) wear new or cultural clothes and eat cultural food which include various types of meat and rice or both.
Tell us about your favorite memory from celebrating your national festival.
I don't have good memory but it was a pleasant day. I was wearing green and white clothing, it was gently raining, my brother came from outside to tell me to join him and his friends, the streets were filled in water, enough to reach some kid's legs, I had a great time that day and would love to experience it again.
I hope you had a good time reading this, long live Pakistan.
