What is a book?

Oral teachings took physical form over 5000 years ago in the form of "Scrolls" or "Books". A book is a body of knowledge and information that is written on pages inside a book and protected by a cover that is either soft or hard.
They were firstly used by the Mesopotamian, Egyptian, Greek, Chinese, and Roman Citizens.
Nowadays Books are a major source of provision of knowledge all around the world. Studying is almost impossible without books.
Al-Beruni was a Iranian scholar that contributed in the field of both Chemistry and Physics. His books still survive to this day, their teachings being used to teach many students.
Such as Ibn Al-Haytham a middle-Eastern Mathematician who wrote "Kitab-ul-Manazir", a book on optics and was the reason for the invention of the pin-hole camera.
In the new era without knowledge, humans are nothing. The major source of provision of knowledge are books. Therefore, the existence of books are important, even in the 21st century.

Tell us about that book you read that changed your life.

Since I'm a student the books I've mostly read are related to studies, but my 7th grade History book changed my view on countries. I used to think Japan was attacked for no reason, but turns out it was revenge for the invasion of Pearl Harbour. I used to think all countries were against each other, but there were alliances i-e Allied powers and the Axis powers. USA did not play a major role and Muslims indeed participate.

What is your favorite literary genre and author, share the reasons.

My favorite genre is Fiction, specifically a Book by the Japanese Author Hirohiko Araki. A mangaka (Japanese comic creator) how drew and wrote the famous fiction Manga (Japanese Comic) "Jojo's Bizarre Adventure". A Family whose generations goes through bizarre experiences due to the complications and challenges they have to face after being targeted by the Family's originator, Johnathan Joestar's step-brother, a British boy named "Dio Brando" whose intentions turn sour after the thought of immortality trough vampirism fills his mind, but a 100 years later is killed by Johnathan Joestar's Japanese Great-great grandson Kujo Jotaro, Tho the story is yet to finish.

If you had the opportunity to write a book, what would it be about?

If I had the opportunity to write a book I'd write a book about Islamic history, specifically from the time of Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى ٱللَّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ and the complications him and his companions had to face. Yet Allah rewarded their tolerance and patience with great success.

Recommend a book to your readers on Steemit.

A book that holds a position greater than a book in the hearts of Muslims. The Holy Quran is the last divine scripture that was revealed by Allah to Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى ٱللَّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ. To understand the true purpose of life, Quran is a perfect guide for it has not been corrupted and is the same scripture that was revealed to Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى ٱللَّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ in the cave of Hira. before reciting the Quran, you must clean yourself or perform ablution. Do not keep it below the level of anyone's feet in the room including yours.
The Holy Quran has several astonishing miracles that proves it's authenticity.
This is my entry for the "Tribute to the Book" challenge.
I invite @hamzayousfzai @roominaz and @zaink to participate in this contest.

Hello @sohaibkhayyam hope you are having a good day I agree that books have been around for ages, passing on knowledge from one generation to another cool how they can change your views, like your history book did for you.

My little sister love fiction too especially 'Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.' If you could write, you'd pick Islamic history to share with others. And for a great read, you can't beat the Holy Quran. Thanks for reminding us how awesome books are,wish you success 💖🤗🌸💐🌺.

my pleasure dear.

@sohaibkhayyam
It was very nice to read your post and I got a lot of information, the way you mentioned different books and also told me about the Holy Quran. Books really increase our knowledge as much as we do. As we read, changes happen in our lives and our knowledge increases, so you are like an ocean, the more we sink into them, the more we will gain. Books play a role in us, they also teach us the manners of standing up and walking in society, so we should study and be interested in them as much as possible, then we should get as much from them as possible.
@mona01

appreciate it.
