Pork Bone Soup DongBei Style. Plastic Glove Included.
Lunchtime!
China, in general but not all, love pork. China would be a paradise for pork lovers.
I stumbled upon this place. Timing had huge factor. Timing is key to many things in this brief life we have as humans on earth. it was lunch time and we were hungry and this was the nearest place that could meet my needs
It was served quickly and deliciously. Meat falling off the bone. Tender and juicy. This food is available pretty much everywhere in Dalian. But finding the right place with the best is tough to find, as it is in any country. One of the best parts of being from a country that has true trickster skills, is getting the best of all foods since the best people from anywhere go to places like Canada. Canada, like NYC, has some of the best Chinese food in the world because great people go to places they can "feel"free.
From pouring broth on simple rice, to make it better, to the uncomfortable garbage bag quality plastic quality glove.
I think in Japan they call this 'Daikon" or something like that. Anyways it does't translate into English. Well this little side dish turned out much better than I could have hopped for. It was the contrast this dish needed. The sour/salty to the meaty fun i got.] Ah man, to choose the right photo of tons is of the the most difficult things to do.
Short and sweet. I hope you can enjoy this too.
And that's my day. Simple and easy.
Pork is always good when cooked tender and juicy or sometimes crispy! It depends how you want it. I love pork bone soup too, it's another dish I can easily cook lol. Glad you enjoyed your purrrfect lunch time! Indeed short article but sweet 😄 Have a great week! @solarguy
It is yummy. I love crispy roast pork too. My mom used to make really good crackling, the crispy skin, and yorkshire puddings, I really miss that. My first full day in PH, i went to a mall in Manila and found a roast pork restaurant and had probably the best crispy pork I've had in my life, aside from home. Filipino's really know how to roast a pig. ^^
Love the crispy pork skin too. We call it here Chicharon, Cebu has the best Chicharon I've had by far. Your mom's cracklings surely taste good. I like it dipped with vinegar and chili sauce hehe. I can eat one right now!
Oh, I remember that roasted pork you had in Manila with the eggplant salad hehe. Yep roasted pork is indeed Filipinos specialty.
Looks delicious recipee.but why you wore these in your hands.
Oh yea the glove, i forgot to write about it.
Well, in China people don't normally eat with their hands, it's considered really dirty. Even pizza comes with knives and forks and plastic gloves. I've tried to eat chicken wings with chop sticks because that's what everyone here seems to do.
So anything that requires hands to eat will usually come with a plastic glove. I could go on about how it's not always easy to find a sink to wash your hands in but I don't think that's the reason.
Like someone else, I'm curious about the gloves?I've never seen a meal come with gloves. I've seen bbq come with an adult baby bip. I assume it's the same safety precaution for messy food. Looks really good.I love a nice broth based meal.
haha, yea, It's kind of weird for me too. I never got plastic gloves eating anything anywhere in Canada we just use our hands.
In China it's considered dirty to eat with your fingers. There are many cultural things here I find contradict each other at times especially when it comes to food health and safety. Pizza Hut here will also serve you with plastic gloves, as all pizza shops do here. Some smaller restaurants won't have a bathroom or a sink for guests to wash their hands in, we have to go to another location which can be a pain so gloves come in handy if you can't wash first.... or after.
Chicken wings are quite popular here and they eat them with chopsticks. I'm pretty good with chopsticks but eating wings like that truly makes every bite rewarding. lol
They have this recipe here called Cola Chicken Wings. And they stir fry the wings with Coke a cola. It's really delicious and tastes nothing like coke but it is sweet and salty and sticky.
Wow..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So delicious food... !!!!
I wanna eat some of them....Great food capture @solarguy
