Vigilante 8: Second Offense Gameplay 05-13

Playing as Shelia I drove the dune buggy with the giant gattling gun on top. I found it funny I could just clip right through the wall and drop into the part of the map with the bots. Connecting the briefcases I got ambushed by the rover robot. And then almost got taken out by one of the trucks in this level. The port of Los Angeles is a tough one one for me. I find myself getting blown up alot, I think going out to the ocean to collect wrenches and special weapons is the safest way to win.

Another bot finds their special weapon and its the guided rockets coming my way. I find myself diving into the water to try to avoid the rockets. It works pretty well to be honest until I flipped over. One thing I really enjoy about this game is how many parts of the level are destructable. I find myself at the end of the game with many different looks to a map due to all the missed shots. Or taking out bots in the buildings.

Using the gattling gun and some missiles, I whammied the trash truck guy but had to run from the special missiles being fired at me. One of the missiles got me and took out my propellers so back to the land.

Right where I was dropped I had a chance to whammy a bunch of other bots though not enough to kill anyone of them. I got knocked in to the water and when redropped they are gone. Getting real low on health I make a run for the water with only one bar of health to spare.

I luckily find a wrench but get ambushed by the guided rocket bot and had to make a run for it again. I pressed the wrong button and entered first person mode and took me a minute to figure out how to get out. Once I did I collected myself some more cannon rounds.

Without good whammies I found myself not doing enough damage to take out the bots. Having the briefcase took up space and I only had two weapons so I think I was at a disadvantage. I retried and when I played the Los Angeles Port map once again I found myself grabbing a jammer and then machine gunning the bot near by. I found a mortar cannon but not much else. I did not want to take the wrenches yet as I had full health though after a few minutes I got taken out again. So I decided to take a break and try to play again later.
