what is plagiarism?

Plagiarism is when you imitates sumones work and make it look as if it's yours. That is stealing someone's idea without he's/her consent.

It's an act of stealing because you have to go as far as lying about them which sounds like a fraud.

Can idea and words be be stolen?

Yes it can be stolen because real ideas is an intellectual property and protected by the copyright laws.

what can be considered plagiarism?

Copying many ideas from a source and making it the majority of your work.

Giving out information that are not correct about the source of a certain quotations.

How to avoid plagiarism

You can avoid plagiarism by citing sources, providing the informations to find the source can prevent plagiarism.

Types of plagiarism

Plagiarism are four types and they are as follow:

Direct plagiarism

This is copying from the real writer without mentioning the source u wrote from.

mosaic plagiarism

This act is unintentional,the writer may have mentioned the source of the content but the writer may not have acknowledge the quoted part.

Self plagiarism

Is the most most common type among all plagiarism,where student submit some papers for two different class projects without asking the lecturer.

Accidental plagiarism

This is the type of plagiarism in which the person involve phrases of the text Taking from the source material as wrong source.

conclusion

I have learnt alot from steemit and I now know that plagiarism is never a good idea to associate with I'll always make sure I stay away from it.
