The first thing that comes to my mind whenever it's about lying and progress, because it's a sore and present topic for me right now for a very long time now, is the ability to lie in an interview about our knowledge and skills in order to get hired. I know many such cases and I feel bad that I don't have the necessary ability to lie and pretend to progress in life lol.
But you're absolutely right, it's not just that, it's everything, starting with Good Day, figuratively speaking. Everything is a lie or just a fake, which is currently even encouraged by social networks, by our culture and our whole way of life.
On the other hand, one simply does not have to think about it. That's the only way to stay positive. 😅
