My Actifit Report Card and Update: June 12 2020

Hi Everyone,

I'm back with another Actifit Report and Update. It has been awhile since my previous report. I have been quite busy and have struggled to be particularly physically active. However, I made up for some of that lack of activity yesterday by going down to the local shopping mall, which just reopened, and walking along by the lake. I still haven't taken Mango the dog back to the lake yet but I should be able to soon as it is less busy now that more places are open.

I also had a chance to try out my new face mask. The mask has filters and is decorated with 'the child' from the Disney Plus series the Mandalorian. It takes a little getting use to as the mask blocks the flow of air a little. After about an hour, I started to feel a little more comfortable. I strongly recommend not trying to do any strenuous exercise wearing it. See my face in the thumbnail for a look at the mask.

My Content

I spent most of the past two weeks away from Hive and over at Udemy. I changed my course from 'Guide to the Steem Ecosystem' to 'Guide to the Hive and Steem Ecosystems'. I didn't add any new videos. Instead, I added about 50 PDFs of slides containing the alternative terminology and websites used for Hive. I couldn't update the videos because of Udemy's new rules regarding length of free courses. I don't see that as a problem as almost all the video content is relevant but with the name 'Steem' instead of 'Hive'.

I have also continued with my contest series the 'Buying and Selling Game'. It has been very difficult to attract participants despite my simplified instructions and higher prize money. The current contest has prize money of 20 Hive and upvotes for participation. I may need to raise the prize to 30 Hive like I did for the previous contest. I am not willing to give up on it yet. I still believe it is good contest.

Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) Udemy Course

I will continue to spend more time on Udemy as I have started work on a new Udemy course. This is a CBA course. This course is an in-depth CBA course for anyone new to CBA or needs comprehensive knowledge of CBA for their job. I have spent much of my career conducting CBAs and teaching practitioners how to conduct CBAs. I intend to complete this course in August.

My Upcoming Hive Content

As I will be spending most of my time on Udemy, my content will be reduced for the next couple of months. I will try to post once a week. I might include a short CBA post of some of my course content.
