Gingerbread house

Hello everyone! I know, spring has come, but I came across these photos online and I want to share them with you) What do you think it is? I thought it is a mini-exposition of the Christmas city. But I didn't think, from what is built this beauty.

It turns out, that this is a city, that is built entirely out of tasty building material is gingerbread. In the Norwegian city of Bergen every year before Christmas, the residents erected a gingerbread town, its construction involved all the cakes are baked including in kindergartens, homes, schools, businesses. Tradition has existed since 1991, every year the town is visited by more than 100 thousand people. Since the XVII century gingerbread came in a wide sale throughout Europe, also acting as a medical device: you can buy them in pharmacies and monastery shops.
