Aceh Tsunami Museum. A Place that Tells All about Tsunami

Aceh Tsunami Museum is a commemoration building of tsunami. It is located in Aceh, west part of Sumatera Island, Indonesia.

This land had been destroyed by earthquake and tsunami on 26th of December 2004. More than 200.000 people killed in this incident.

Coming to this museum will rewind the things happened on that day. There are many objects that ruined by tsunami such as moyorcycle and Alquran. In this museum, you also can see many pictures that tells how terrible the disaster was.

There are also a mini theatre that will play short video when the tsunami happened. Several name of victims is written on the wall as well.

Eventhough that huge disaster had passed the moment will never can be forgotten.

Now, this museum become a tsunamu heritage tour. Many people - local and long distance tourist- come to visit this museum.
