I've got a few things to cover in this week's #boringpostwednesday. Get a coffee, you'll need it!
It's been 2 weeks since my last #boringpostwednesday and I've got a few things to go over. Go get that coffee NOW, don't say I didn't warn you....
Where to start?? The same place I always do:
The voting weight remains over 143,000SP. This is a little off the 150k I was hoping for a few weeks back, but after a few long term steemians up sticks a left, and took their delegation with them, it could have been far lower. I don't see any more delegations being pulled any time soon, so it should remain pretty stable.
Voting power remains within the predicted low to mid 90%'s. It got a little lower than expected last week, due to an error in the bots upvoting. It washanding out a few double and even a triple upvote one day. I do expect to see a big influx of #steemsilvergold posts on Sunday morning which may hit the VP hard, but that's not an issue.
The actual @ssg-community wallet is holding up well. The steem in the wallet has dropped sharply this month due to locking in long term leases and paying for them upfront. We still have over 1300 steem and with the ticket sales for #MR4 due to peak in the next day or two, keeping our current steem power levels should be easily attainable.
The last "powerdown" cycle ended a few weeks ago, so we are no longer receiving the weekly 160 steem. This was not an over sight, honest!!! This meant that @ssg-community 's own steem power (2,677sp) has built up, but the steem in the wallet has decreased.
Without making #boringpostwednesday too boring, I'll try and keep this short:
Steem power created through curation and post payouts EQUALED the maximum powerdown level of 160steem (approx) and so remained balanced
This meant @ssg-community 's SP never reduced. The community guildlines say to keep SP at 700sp. So by allowing the SP to rise, it means powerdown should exceed income and start to reduce our own steempower. Powerdowns are now set to 205 steem per week and will be allowed to run the full 13 week cycle OR when 700sp has been reached (which ever come first).
If youve not heard of the #monsterraffle yet WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN??
We are in the final few days and these are always the time where a big infux of ticket sales rush in. I'm confidently predicting that ticket sales in #mr4 will see the #steemsilvergold community good for several months to come.
A few things to think about - Do we continue with current SP and leases and stretch out the steem like we are doing now OR do we double down and use the steem to increase SP to over 200k but burn through it very quickly??
So I asked the question and got the answer...
@ssg-community WILL be staking its #Pal and members that receive an upvote from Precious will see an upvote on the palnet.io network.
I think this is the correct decision and should see members receive another crypto income from using steemit and the @ssg-community account.
Expect to see this about 10 minutes after I post this blog.
A massive thank you to the members that took part in last month #steembasicincome raffle. We raised another 59 SBI shares for @ssg-community. We are well on our way to getting a $1 upvote from them.
Your steem was transferred and your shares were bought nearly 2 weeks ago. I surprised myself that I did it on time this month.
I asked and the community answered. I'm half way through letting the community know what we still need.
So now I need to know what members want to do with the cards we've collected so far? All suggestions are welcomed. It could be sell, raffle, giveaway....etc Just let me know.
I am @welshstacker and I told you to get that coffee

You just received a 100% upvote from @rewards-pool. Thank You for being apart of the @rewards-pool community
Welshie way to stay on top of everything. Thank you
Hey I’ve been a bit absent and unmotivated of late. Just curious to know what happened to the #Steemsilverround2019 I have some of the first 2 but think I may have missed out on this year.
I vote you sell the steemmonster cards for shares of SBI. Sell the for 50% above going price if they pay in sbi. Or raffle them away. Make the entrance shares of sbi.
I also say spend the steem to get more leases.
Looking good welshie!
👊😎✨🍆
Thank you for all the work you do here at #ssg.
Now we are getting some nice splinterlands tokens too, will we stake them also? I vote to keep the voting power the same so we don't have to worry about fundraising so soon.
Staked PAL can be delegated now, too.
I agree with staking the PAL. That will grow quickly and provide another source of income for SSG members.
I think that the Steem Monsters cards should be leveled until they reach a point where leveling them more won't help. I have level 5 summoners for my personal account, so if I get common reward cards I melt them as I already have them all at level 6. Does that make sense?
I'd love to see SSG-community save up more Steem. I know the guidelines say that the account should target staying at 700SP, but it seems a shame to keep paying for leases when we could slowly build an account that can support us without having to pay for it. This probably isn't a popular opinion, but I'm more of a slow, sustainable grow kind of guy.
I appreciate all that you guys do to keep things running. You're doing great!
I saw we get our summoners up to at a minimum level 5. Sell the cards and reinvest, we get more cards and DEC
Do what you think is best with the DEC... I have pulled enough for 50 steem out SO far to power up, but also buy card potions and am eyeing up a few orbs.
