The Ultimate Fighting Championship, known as UFC the organization is which home to superstars like Conor Mcgregor, Ronda Rousey, Jon Jones fight is putting fights together in the United States since the spread of Covid-19 induced a monthslong live sports hiatus.

The UFC earlier last year signed a TV contract with ESPN worth staggering $7 Billion dollars and they're creating a blueprint for professional sports to be back without fans until the pandemic ends.

The President of the UFC Dana White has announced a dedicated island to host UFC events in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi in the coming months where international fighters will be able to travel and compete. The UFC athletes and staff will be back sooner in action than most professional sports. The promotion will be holding four events in three weeks in a lockdown ‘safe zone’, which will see fighters flying in from all across the globe to compete.

The fight cards look stacked and the fight island looks really exciting!
