Needleworkmonday - Handmade Hats and Scarfs, best Christmas🎄Gifts 🎁

Happy Holidays! The season of giving is here, and what better gifts than hats, scarfs and gloves? I am glad that I picked up the crochet hobby and I was able to make some pretty hats and scarfs to gift to my loved ones. This post is for the #needleworkmonday hosted by @crosheille, lovely challenge, please join us and share your creations. 😊

First, let me pick up where I left in a previous post. I was trying a new pattern for a scarf. I did not quit, although it was quite difficult for a beginner like me. I had to count stitches all the time.

The result: a shawl. My daughter loved it, so I gave it to her.

Below is a another pattern that I learned: corn stitch. I made a berette that came out awesome. Looks good on my daughter, nice color for her skin tone.

These are some hats I made for friends and I gave them as Xmas gifts. I went with black, because everybody likes it and it goes with everything.

I hope you liked my little creations. I am sorry that I couldn’t take better pictures, not much natural light in winter!

Nothing beats handmade things as gifts - at least for those who are "knit-worthy" (dito for crochet). It's a joy to see others wear our gifts and appreciate them. I love the things you made :)
