Blockchain architecture I - Layer 1

Hello friends it's an honor to create another high quality article on this lovely community, sharing knowledge on this community is one of my main priorities because members of this community tends to be willing to learn from crypto related articles like this.

Today I would love to talk about blockchain architecture, blockchain architecture has to do with how they blockchain was designed and how it performs logically and physically in respond to functionalities and command of it users as every period of time. Blockchain architecture is really complex but very solid because so many awesome technology was brought together to make it a successful project, this is the reason that blockchain technology good forever stand out as the best.

Architecture of a blockchain is basically divided into three layers known as layer 1, layer 2 and layer 3 blockchain technology, although song expert believed that they are more than three. But for this reason I would be sticking today three layers of a blockchain I know.

The Layer 1 blockchain is known to be the foundational blockchain architectural layer where the the core and basic blockchain activities occurs, It is maked up of the core blockchain infrastructures and the set of rules that guides and controls the creation of coins, validation of blocks, and consensus mechanism that the blockchain uses,

Features of Layer 1 blockchain

• Holds The Consensus Mechanisms Of The Blockchain:

The Layer 1 blockchains is in charge of assigning the consensus mechanisms to be used
on the blockchain, that is to say it is in the layer one blockchain architecture that the consensual mechanism that will be used in the blockchain will assigned or implemented. Because of the fact that layer 1 blockchain architecture is the core area of the blockchain is it expected that core factors of features like consensus mechanism should be done here. Below are list of famous consensus mechanism

1 Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS),
2 Proof of Work (PoW),
3 Proof of Stake (PoS),
4 Proof of Authority (PoA)and
5 Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance (PBFT).

• Native Cryptocurrency:

The Layer 1 blockchains typically have uses and creates native cryptocurrency for the blockchain, this native assert are used to serves as a means of exchange on the blockchain, store of value of the blockchain. Unlike other layers of the blockchain that my use tokens or wrapped assets results of liquidated native access, the layer 1 blockchain actually once all it activities using the native cryptocurrency as a medium of exchange between users on the blockchain.

• Decentralization:

In this layer of a blockchain the networking structure of the blockchain has already been set and agreed on, and in more case all blockchain technologies prefers using their technologies or platform using a distributed network format or a pair to pair network format. In general what I am about to say is that they decentralization of the platform is done from the layer 1 architectural solution.

• Rules

Also if you feel like setting rules to your blockchain this can only be done in this layer of your blockchain because it is the core of the blockchain and it has access to every aspect of the blockchain. You might be wondering what sort of rules could be set on a blockchain but I want to give you an example Have you try creating multiple post on steam it in less than 5 minutes? or have you voted on more than one post faster than it should be? If you have done any of this before you will notice a red colored writing pops up telling you to wait for 5 minutes before creating another post even though you recently deleted the old one and you're about to be post it because of one or two issues.
