Mutton Dalcha
Ingredients
- 2 medium size potatoes
- 1 carrot
- 1 eggplant
- 5 long beans
- 1 tomato
- A handful of peanuts dal
- Little pieces of chicken
- 5 cloves of shallot, small slices
- 3 cloves of garlic, small slices
- 1 cm ginger, puree
- 3 tablespoons curry powder
- Powdered herbs (Clove flowers, mace flower, cinnamon, and cardamom to taste)
- A little tamarind water
- Sugar and salt to taste
- 2 tbsp chilli powder
- 1/2 box of coconut milk
- Enough water
The steps
- Cut the vegetables first, set aside.
- Saute onion, garlic, and fine ginger. Enter the chili powder and curry powder that has been given water, stir-fry until fragrant. Then enter all the powdered herbs.
- Add chicken, potatoes and water.
- After that enter the dal nuts and other vegetables, sugar, salt, tamarind water and coconut milk.
- Cook until cooked and the sauce is not too liquid. Lift.
- Dish with rice or canai bread.
