It's seven (7) months now since we launched the 10% beneficiary to @steem-ghana. The idea appear to be very good as one of the best way to raise funds aside Delegation and the community post rewards. The fact is that we do not now see it to be working as we began. Moreover we have New Members who have joined and do not know the details about this. Find the first announcement here:
We would like to update it frequently for members to become aware how beneficial this project is. To our Newcomers, 10% beneficiary to @steem-ghana is the rewards set for Steem Ghana Community for any post we share through Steem-ghana Community. This is to support raise little funds to support the community especially increasing the Community effective power to Upvote members.
How to set 10% beneficiary to @steem-ghana?
After having finished written your post, before you click the post button, before the preview, you will see "Add Account." Click on the add account, that means you can add one more account as beneficiary. It's even displayed who should receive the rewards👇.
Add the percentage of rewards you wish to set. In this case since we have agreed to set 10% to Steem-Ghana, just enter 10. This means that when the post is paid, 10% is automatically taking away given you 90%. For instance if your post reward is 20Steem and you set Steem-ghana as 10% beneficiary, only 2Steem is taken out leaving you 18Steem. We believe you don't lose much from your payout.
Just on the same horizontal line, type steem-ghana at the space provided. As shown below:
Click on the "save" as highlighted to effect the 10% beneficiary to Steem-Ghana.
If you did it right you will surely see "Beneficiaries: 1 set." This shows that you have set Steem-ghana as 10% beneficiary as shown below:
We would want to revived it strongly for all Newcomers to take part. We are doing this to support the community funds to grow as many projects are ongoing. We would give updates from time to time for members to know how effective this project is.
