It's Been A Year Now.....Life Goes On !
It's been a year now, things have changed, my routine have changed, life took an u-turn, but looking at the picture it looks it happened yesterday itself.
It was last year in July, that I said good bye to my corporate world and choose a peaceful village life. The sucking city and corporate life that always reels under pressure, buttering , selfishness where everyone tries to pull you down. It was a hard decision I took considering after 15 years of service I didn't saw any future among the boot lickers. But at the end I am happy all because of my great team members that always makes me proud.
Trully, managing a team who supports you is always boon in the corporate world. I was fortunate to have a team who always ready to obey my instruction. Either to make them stay or ask them to come on weekend. They ready to take on the challenge together forever. Be it boys or girls they never let me down.
Staying together , working together, managing together. It might take a toll on Managers to establish a good coordination among team members. There is always a kind of dispute or misunderstanding , but this team is one who never let me feel alone or never let me down. Always taking up the management challenge straight face with the belief that their Manager (me) standing up for them and rightly so, in all the years I managed them, I never let them feel presurised with management decision.
True defination of team where all levels of seniors and juniors were abolished. They by heart respect me , and that makes me to keep them happy. But I am bonded by the shrude management, who always support and favors the bootlickers. I tried hard with my performance, but they want me to be ass lickers and finally I gave up. I never do things which I am not comfortable with.
It was the reason during my Farewell, my team members didn't call any of my seniors. My team know they made my life hell by continuously pressurising me. All of team members wants to leave with me. But it was not easy for all. Everyone of them have their own needs and personal life. There were many moments, we lived throughout the time, be it team lunch, or pot lunch or celebrating any occassion/ festivals. We make a stand out team in office.
I understood the true meaning of life, on my last day. All throught our life, we make all effort to earn lots of money and in process we never value others. But in my short career, I earned the most valuable things "Respect" which many failed to earn.
I Loved my Team, and They Always Respect me. And on last day they made me emotional, with a team collage as one of the gift.
Making me cry and along with every team member. I wish them all the best, in life. Can't do much for them. Recently , when I visited New Delhi, I made a visit and and didn't surprised to find many have left. I am feeling happy for them . On my next we gonna make a get together with revisiting some old memory.
Some time Life Sucks...But It Make You Proud...and Life goes on.
Stay Calm....
Keep Steeming...Steem On !!!

You were lucky enough to realize your true calling in a peaceful village far from the cacophony of polluted and stressful metro life. Not many get such an opportunity or realization! So in a way, you should be thankful to your boss & management and your life's circumstances that lead you to take this beautiful decision 😉
I respect your decision. Hope it will inspire many more!
Enjoy life and keep Steeming.
Hey @xyzashu it's pretty difficult to get over the "MOH" & "Maya" ...may be the the bosses are somewhere responsible for my decision. I always love to do what makes me happy. The decision is pretty hard ...but better than too late I have to make such decision at certain given point of time.....so whatever happens is always for good

well done @steemflow, .. jacking it all in and living the simple life is something that I dream about, but it will never happen, I remember that I still have a mortgage, 3 cars and expensive kids, .. I also like the occasional midnight food order from Fatbellies Pizza, which I wouldn't be able to do living out in the sticks, …. kudos to you for making the leap though !
This is what keep human bonded and makes pretty hard to make such decision. But choosing what suits you and makes you happy is important. In all my service I always tried to make my management happy and never bothered of my own happiness. And when time comes it make me realize the missing part and I chooses the path. Though it's not smooth as it seems to be there are challenges but these challenges are for my life nothing sort of making a management happy...

It was a huge step you took. And I think it was the right one for sure. Cities destroy people. I'm glad you stepped out of it.

Thanks @foxyspirit sometime life realises the missing part and let two ends to meet. There are many things which are not similar to city life but making the best is what more impprtant

It sounds like that you are still happy with your decision to leave. too bad you couldn't bring your team with you to your village and build something awesome together!
Indeed..no remorse of things happened....life is about to keep going. Infact there is certain financial crunches but enjoying mental peace ...hope to get over with the money matters sooner
