Steemit Update [September 20th, 2026] : Steemit Challenge Season 34 - Week 5
The new format of Season 34 seems to be well received so we will be continuing with this for a few more weeks.
Season 34 will keep going with the engagement and improvement comments, the weekly choice posts and two new Challenge questions each week
The only format change this week will be with the weekly selection posts.
Season 34 : Week 5 Challenge Questions
The Challenge Questions this week…
Question 1
What are you saving for at the moment?
Why do you want the item, how much does it cost, and how long will it take you to save enough money to be able to buy it?
Where will you buy it from when you are ready to make the purchase?
Have you checked with an AI Chatbot like ChatGPT or Claude to see if it can find you the best deal for what you want to buy?
For this Challenge Question use the tag #s34challenge-wk5a.
Question 2
Imagine you are the Mayor of your village, town or city for one week.
For this special week you will be granted special powers to get things done.
What three changes would you make during your week in power to improve the lives of the local people?
Who would support your changes, and who would oppose them?
How much money approximately would your changes cost to implement, and how would you find the money? Would you have to make savings elsewhere to get the money?
Do you think your changes would stay in place after you have finished your week in power? Or would they quickly be changed back to how they used to be?
For this Challenge Question use the tag #s34challenge-wk5b.
The two questions are quite different to give maximum appeal. You are welcome to take on one or both - just make separate posts if you answer both questions.
These Challenge Questions will remain open until 11:59pm UTC on Sunday, September 27th, 2026.

Las preguntas planteadas está semana están interésantes y como dice el equipo Steemit diferentes como para que escojamos la que más nos guste, aunque a mí me gustaron las dos Pero comenzaré por la primera jeje.
Está cool este sistema de Challenge 34 estaba ocupada con mis pasantías y no había empapado mucho pero ya ya entendí y lo que no entienda lo preguntaré eso no lo duden soy muy preguntona😁.
Me parece genial que no sean como concursos donde escogen ganadores como tal porque con esta modalidad dan más opción a que todos los usuarios tengamos chance de obtener apoyo de los grandes curadores al publicar los desafíos de calidad.
Muy buena la idea del señor @cruzamilcar63 de seleccionar 4 publicaciones, como una de cada cosa es menos complicado elegir y hay más oportunidad de votos para los posts de este tipo de selección semanal .

Ay Steemitblog, esa pregunta de los ahorros me toca una tecla sensible, los ahorros de mi futura casita, pero siempre pasa una cosa u otra. No he podido por cuestiones de tiempos y ocupaciones responder las dos preguntas de los desafíos pero me ha gustado la iniciativa, si le da un toque diferente a la diversidad de temas. Muy interesantes las preguntas planteadas para esta semana y me gusta el hecho de hacer mención a la IA, en mi caso le comento todo incluyendo mis planes a futuro y eso abarca algunas cosas para las que estoy ahorrando, hace días atrás le pedí que me mostrara planes y estrategias para lograr mi objetivo, dentro de un margen de tiempo determinado, así que me gusta mucho que se haya incluido este aspecto.
Sobre la segunda pregunta, me parece que es una gran oportunidad para desarrollar nuestra creatividad, evaluando cada uno según su criterio de pensamiento como actuaría y que acciones haría para cumplir correctamente con la misión asignada, será muy interesante leer las participaciones y por supuesto animarme a presentar mi opinión.
Con respecto a los cambios de la selección semanal me parece perfecto reducir la cantidad de publicaciones mencionadas, gracias a nuestro amigo @cruzamilcar63 por esta brillante y muy acertada idea. Éxitos para todos. 🌟

Saludos. Para mi esta temporada ha sido de verdad un gran despertar para ver muchos mas usuarios activos en la plataforma Steemit, ya que en estos dias he visto usuarios que no estaban activos participando y eso es bueno. En cuanto a una sugerencia me gustaría que este estilo este funcionando un tiempo mas y que sea así con ese toqué de que semana a semana tienen una actividad nueva y especial. Sin duda ha sido un desafío muy top.
Los cambios muchas veces nos oponemos a ellos por estar acostumbrados a una rutina ya establecida, talvez muchos pensamos que no podría funcionar Pero los resultados son otros ya se ve más interacción y mayor participación en las publicaciones y eso era lo que buscaba el equipo de la plataforma, ahora lo de reducir el número de publicaciones seleccionadas para los votos extras cada semana me parece muy buena la propuesta y que haya salido de un usuario mejor acá podemos verificar que cada publicación es leída por el equipo de steemit y son tomadas en cuenta

I suggest keep this format going for as long as possible to save us from monotonus stuff that was limited for a particular section of users.
Well, for me nothing worked as per my expectations. My suggestion post received almost 60 responses all from top users but most of them did not agree with my suggestions including the top curators for resons best known to them.
My only answer post attracted no curators including the contest starters but that's okay, I still support the current format. Thank you!

¡Hola! En el contexto de la satanización de la IA, la pregunta 1, es como una "llave" que abre una puerta prohibida, y lo celebro grandemente.
Yo sé y reconozco los puntos o aspectos positivos y negativos de la IA, pero estoy más a favor que en contra, porque la considero una herramienta útil y poderosa, solo que muchas personas no saben darle un uso ético, crítico, responsable y creativo.
¡La IA debe ser asumida como una extensión de la Inteligencia Humana, y no convertirla en su sustituto.
