Chain of Goodness Event | Feeding and Giving of Steem T-shirts to Neighborhood

A chain of goodness starts with a simple act of kindness. ~ Rizalino Protomartir Jr.~

Today, we were able to continue with our desire to spread kindness and do goodness towards the people in need. As what I have promised to @steemcurator01 about his suggestion to give Steemit T-shirts to children, and as approved by @anroja for the design, together with my wife @georgie84, and fellow steemian @bisayakalog we are able to make it come true.

With the support as well of our fellow steemians @sweetspicy and @traderpaw who gave their time to help us we are able to fulfill our hope to give Steem T-shirts to some of the kids in the neighborhood.

Preparation
The day was filled with joy. From preparation, to inviting kids, adults, parents...and anyone who loves to have egg mayo sandwich, packed orange juice and mango-cheese ice cream.

This is again a full family effort and support to make children and everyone happy. First, Mama prepared lunch for us before we get started and then she boiled the eggs for the sandwich. Then after lunch, we gather together at the gazebo to prepare everything we need. My wife and @traderpaw removed the egg shells and smashed them to mixed with the mayonnaise while @bisayakalog was writing a tag in the white paper. Then we start making the sandwich and we're able to make 120 pieces or more (so that means anyone who wants to eat more can eat more).

Then the tube of mango-cheese ice cream came (4.5 gallons)and the table has set-up, kids were in line and so excited to have their afternoon snacks. @sweetspicy was helping me at first in scooping the ice cream into the cone and the rest of the steemians and family members were helping to have kids social distancing and wear proper face mask just to prevent them from getting sick.

The Distribution of snacks and Steem T-shirts
Children was the first priority to get snacks and then we select one kid in the household to received the T-shirt since it is only limited, but I am hoping to print more in the near future because a lot of children even adults wants to have one as well.

These are the selected children we chose to received the T-shirt today. They are more than happy to be selected for the nice gift we have for them. Their smiles could just melt my heart but more to those kids who were not able to get one.

We are able to take pictures with them before they go home and if you will look their faces with or without the face masks, their happiness is really immeasurable.

The children went home with a full stomach and some came back for more, others asked for their younger siblings, and parents. Since we still have a lot, they were able to bring home a sandwich and ice cream.

Adults Time
After the kids, the adults waiting outside were the next group to received snacks. Some asked for Steem T-shirts but unfortunately we don't have enough for them. But they too enjoyed the delicious ice cream and sandwiches. Packed orange juice was securely for the kids only.

Rewarding Ourselves
After the accomplishment, family and steemians were able to enjoy the delicious ice cream as well. It was indeed a wonderful day for every one knowing we make people happy in little ways we can.

While cleaning up, there were other kids from far neighborhood came and good thing we still have enough for them.

Everything will not be possible without God's provision and by sending us angels to help us continue our hopes to help and make children happy in simple and nutritious ways. All of the blessing I have in my life are all from God and I know I need to share them to those in need. Not necessary having too much in life but the importance is you have the desire and do the act of what you desire for.

I hope this will not be the end but a continuous process for the chain of goodness for everyone. I would like to thank @steemwomenclub community and everyone behind it.
